Pump and Belt Data
Spectra and Sample Audio


Purpose:

  1. Prove that the Adaptive Noise Cancelation approach selected works on the site data
  2. Give before and after results for the ANC

Procedure:

Generate spectra and audio samples for real site recordings

  1. Use Brian's data recorded at the site as the "noise source"
  2. A "quiet zone" was created by feeding the "noise source" into a 110 sample delay line.
  3. The data was then processed with the Normalized LMS Algorithm (64 Taps / alpha = 1.0)
  4. The resulting spectra were generated by Cool Edit
  5. The results were also formatted for Mac (AIFF) and PC (wav) listening
